This is the Tecno Pova Curve 2 and its key asset is its massive 8,000mAh battery. But there's more to it so let's have a look.
The phone just launched in India and is available in Mystic Purple, Melting Silver (ours), and Storm Titanium, and in either 8/128GB or 8/256GB options. It starts from INR 27,999 (€258 and £221, converted) and ships with a case, 45W charger, and a USB-A to USB-C cable.

The phone has a now-retro-feeling curvy build. The front and rear panels are very sloped, and the frame melts into a thin side rail. It's an elegant design, which we still hold dear to our heartsNot everything needs to be a rectangle that's flat on all sides.
Feel aside, the Pova Curve 2 is a well-balanced phone, specs-wise. It runs on a 6nm Dimensity 7100 chipset with 8GB of RAM. The screen is a nicely-sized (6.78") 144Hz 1080p AMOLED with Gorilla Glass 7i on top.
There are really only two cameras on board - the 13MP selfie shooter, and a 50MP main wide-angle that does double duty as a 3x zoom. The other lens on the back is a 2MP dedicated macro.
There's also just one speaker on the Tecno Pova Curve 2, but it's a Dolby Atmos-capable unit, and it sounds great - loud and crisp.
